Spira is a smallish continent with a population of a little over 100,000. Summoners and Mages are often born here the most and are usually very strong in that department. Other fighters tend to come out of the woodwork looking for available people with such high energy levels. Spira is also Blitzball and Spheregrid crazy. Two sports they can't get enough of.
